Today the 1000. Epica concert should take place at the same location where everything started in 2002. And so you could look forward to a mini festival with many companioned bands of which the French Nightmare should be the opener.
Although the weather was extremely good the 013 was already half-filled at 15:30 when the band entered the stage. As all were in an extremely good mood and also the roaring voice of front woman Magali Luyten was a lot of fun already during this gig the atmosphere at the location was great. Nightmare has a changeful history. Already founded in 1979 and separated from 1987 until 1999 they just released the album “Dead Sun” with their new singer. Of this were all of the songs played this afternoon. The only founding member left is bassist Yves Campion. But altogether (there are additionally the guitarists Franck Milleliri and Matt Asselbergs as well as Olivier Casula on drums) they played a really good show and were a perfect opener for a really great day.
