29.12.2018 Ice Sculpture festival at Zwolle

Between Christmas and New Year, I made a short trip to the Dutch Zwolle were a really great ice sculpture festival took place. After some waiting time (overall nearly 90 minutes) you entered the ice cold hall.
On a circular route one could admire great things from various subject areas. May it be “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland”, “Harry Potter” or Tarzan. It was really impressive what art pieces simply made out of ice were created. At some places there was the opportunity given to enter the sculpture landscape to take some pictures. Overall the long waiting was really worth it although after roughly 45 minutes you left the ice hall and one was quite happy to be able to warm up.
