Only a few years ago, I had already visited the Dinosaur Park in Münchehagen. Since it had left such a great impression, I decided to return. Once again, the enormous dinosaur models were fascinating to behold, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in a long-forgotten world.
From there, I continued towards Hanover to visit the famous Herrenhausen Gardens. Unfortunately, I was unlucky with the weather, as it poured with rain during the morning. As a result, the day's plans had to be adjusted slightly. I started by exploring the greenhouses, and once the rain eased a little, I wandered through the surrounding gardens. Around midday, the nearby Sea Life aquarium provided fascinating insights into the underwater world. In the afternoon, the weather improved enough to allow exploration of the gardens on the opposite side of the street. While they were not quite as botanically diverse, their beautiful flowerbeds and sculptures made them equally worthwhile.
The final stop on this trip was formed by the Steinhude Lake. With a refreshing breeze one could take a great walk across its shoreline.
