Also Diabulus In Musica is a well known band, were the Spanish from Pamplona already last year providing a really good show. The work on their new album for their new label Napalm Records are also widely progressing and during each stage setting break on this weekend the new video to the first single of it "Sceneries Of Hope" was shouting towards one from the screens.
The band just on its former shows went about their work creatively starting at the epic entry and ending at the involvement of the background choir into the gig as well as the numerous change of outfits of singer Zuberoa Aznàrez. Their music is a mixture of symphonic and gothic metal. From the structure this concert was comparable to the one the year before as also this time there was the guest appearance of Elfenthal singer Maite Itoiz. Furst she was only at the background choir but later you could find her also at the front of the stage. Very at the spot was also keyboarder Gorka Elso turning himself out to be a real stage hog. During some songs additionally he took over the microphone to alternate with Zuberoa.
Just like already mentioned the gig was quite comparable to the one of the year before and just because of that the same question as towards Trail Of Tears appears here too, why they were playing again already this year. They still had only their debut album with them but were allowed to play a slot that normally is dedicated to one of the better known bands (at least at last but two of the day with 50 minutes of time to play). OK, thier new album will be released next year in the first quarter but anyhow the question towards the promoters should be allowed why they did not place another band on that slots. Musically it was not that bad but also not overwhelming. The new single at least sounds already quite good and the question is how the rest of the album will sound like. Overall a good gig which I from time point of view would have like earlier on one of the two days and therefore one of the better bands (like e.g. Triosphere or Deadlock) on this place instead.
