I went on to the Party Stage were already „Germany’s most band of the world“ was waiting: Knorkator. The weird shows have lots of followers you could already see by the fact that it was completely crowded on the area in front of the stage.
Temperatures were slowly rising and so singer Stumpen did not wear his pink latex suite very long. This one was gotten rid of by help of guitarist Buzz Dee and afterwards thrown into the audience. Afterwards the big show begun. Stumpen ran, jumped and acted like a clown across the stage and also in front of it. I was astonished that he was able to sing during that. Alf Ator was also using his instruments virtuously which was not only his keyboard but also several household items. As an additional support during the song “Du Bist Schuld” Equilibrium bassist Jen Majura came onto the stage to improve the band on the guitar side. As at the beginning of the year the new CD “We Want Mohr” was released songs of it may not be missing which were “L”, “Konrad” or “Zoo”. Just like on the CD “Es Werde Nicht” Alf Ator’s son TimTom was supporting the band during the song “Arschgesicht”.
Atmosphere wise there was a lot going on on and in front of the stage. It was really impressive how many were able to sing along the sometimes-complicated lyrics loudly. Due to the fact that it was very crowded I did not watch the show until the end but decided to have a little break until the next band. The gig was in any case a very worthwhile happening.
