09.01.2015 Battle Beast

Turbinenhalle, Oberhausen (Germany)

(Olympus XZ-1)

Sabaton is doing the honor to the Turbinenhalle at Oberhausen and as opener of the evening they brought the Finnish metaller of Battle Beast with them. Stylistic inspired by bands like Iron Maiden, Manowar or Judas Priest the four men and the lady directly put the first exclamation mark of the evening.
The first larger success the band had with the victory of the Wacken Metal Battle in 2010 and since then it is continuously going upwards. Meanwhile with a new front woman Noora Louhimo who really knew using her voice powerful and well. That was the point in time where the venue started moving for the first time that evening and the band with singer Louhimo and bassist Eero Sipilä leading the way heating up the crowd on and on. The songs were on this evening from the second album “Battle Beast” and the latest opus “Unholy Savior”.
Directly from the start generated very good mood and by that introduced very well into the evening. From my point of view, it could for sure continue like that!
