After several years I was able to watch Anneke van Giersbergen again live. As support act of Within Temptation she opened the evening and had many nice rock songs with her. I am always impressed of her voice and energy she is showing on stage.
Although I think that the audience was reacting quite reserved you could absolutely not tell that of Anneke. Again and again she announced how great this gig would be. Unfortunately the band only had 30 minutes available and this although they were the only support act. There was much more to see during the last Within Temptation gig at the E-Werk four years ago. To that time there were two support acts with them (Delain and 69 Eyes) that had much more time (Delain 30 minutes and 69 Eyes 45 minutes). Never mind! It was though a lot of fun.
As there was not that much light compared to Within Temptation later on I had some issues with my compact camera as I was able to shoot usable pictures in the end. That is why there are only so few pictures and also in not such a great quality.
