Also this year the king of home-organ may not be missing on this festival. I heard of him for the first time round about 10 years ago (to that time at the king of German late night Harald Schmidt) and so I wanted to have this cool trashy home-organ sound for the closure of this day.
I was not disappointed by him. Mambo Kurt pulled out all the stops and got for example one lady onto the stage for a short dance, or a whole group being his GoGo’s. Very funny was the part of his program, where he let the audience decide by applause whether to play a metal classic or pop trash.
All in all very funny. Nothing for every day but for one hour or so, it lifts your spirit.
