With System Divide a somehow harder pace was again brought onto stage. The multi-national combo formed by the singer Sven de Caluwé (of the Belgium band Aborted and responsible for the growls) and his wive Miri Milman (former Distorted) that were supported by Michael Wilson and Gregory Macklin on guitars as well as Mike Heller on drums.
Musically it is a quite interesting mixture of melodic death metal, gothic and metal core influences. Sven permanently threw his brutal growls towards one with brakes in style when Miri took over the clear sung hook. Also stylistic that somehow came a little bit bulky around the corner but if you got used to it and embark to it, it was making quite a lot of fun. So the energy on stage quickly sloshed to the audience in front of the stage and the first heads started banging. The tracks were of their two albums "The Collapse" and "The Conscious Sedation". Momentarily they are working on their third record of wich nothing was yet presented.
In case that someone was not yet really awake so one should at least be after the hurricane sweeping across the stage. In my point of view at least not one of the best shows of the weekend (seen musically) but a very interesting and powerful one. At least a not so small part of the audience really had fun with it.
