Many Trips Over the Past Year
Over the course of the past year, I travelled to many destinations across Germany and nearby European countries. It all began with a three-day trip to Hanover during the German Unity Day holiday. Along the way, I visited the Dinosaur Park in Münchehagen, the Herrenhausen Gardens in Hanover, and Lake Steinhude.
The next journey followed shortly afterwards. At the end of October, I headed to the Moselle region to visit Eltz Castle and take on some challenges at the Geierlay Suspension Bridge and the Calmont Via Ferrata hiking trail. After the winter, my first trip of 2026 took me to Belgium and the beautiful city of Antwerp. In June, I once again had the opportunity to travel to Gothenburg for work. During my free weekend, I visited Slottsskogen as well as the Botanical Garden and, on the recommendation of a colleague, also spent some time on the beautiful island of Vrångö.
I spent my main summer holiday once again in the Nordic countries. At the end of July, I travelled to Denmark, crossing virtually the entire country via Skaebaek, Aarhus, Odense, Roskilde, Copenhagen, and the island of Møn. Along the way, I visited numerous worthwhile destinations that ultimately convinced me that this certainly would not be my last visit to the country. On the journey home, I made a brief stop in Schleswig before, after nearly two and a half weeks, it was unfortunately time to return home.
