In the afternoon, the day continued for me with Voivod on the Party stage. Up to then I had never heard anything of the Canadians (except some songs on their homepage one week in front of their gig). And so I taled potluck on what would happen.
First of all, they did not disappoint me. The guys had really fun on stage and let the audience feel it (especially the ones with the Quebec flag in front of it). Nice fast songs to be presented by a face making Denis “Snake” Belanger running around like a tornado animated the crowd immediately to open some circle-pits (especially without showing a video message to stop it).
So, I enjoyed it very much and also the other metal heads in front of the stage did although it were not that much (the Apokalyptischen Reiter were playing in parallel).
