Blow on blow it continued. Trillium only released one album but it is the band of Amanda Somerville who proved already at other project her voice skills.
The same she did today. You could see the long experience on stage she had because she was one of the singer who could not only convice by her incredible voice but also fascinating the audience. Very emotional it got when she talked about the death of Simon Oberenders and dedicated the song "Mistaken" to him. Later on she was supprted by the ex After Forever guitarist Sander Gommers being together with her on stage for some songs. Out of their cooperation together with ex Halloween singer Michael Kiske they sung besides the Trillium songs also one of that project: "Set A Fire".
A great show that Amanda Somerville performed and one of the best voices that day. From style point of view again something completely different compared to the other bands but just this diversification makes Metal Female Voices Fest that interesting. Let's see if it will remain at only one Trillium album or if Miss Summerville finally continues to work a little bit longer on a project (up to now that were always very short-lived things).
