The afternoon was progressing and now it was up to another Belgian band to keep moods up high. Skeptical minds are guests not for the first time because already during the 3., 4. and 7. edition of the festival they could prove their skills.
The reason for being there so often is for sure also reasoned due to the fact that they have a contract at the organizing promoter 2Wild4 because during all that time (at least from 2005 until 2012) they only released two albums (namely 2005 "Rent To Kill" and 2010 "Skepticalized"). Accordingly limited was the amount of songs of which they could choose being restricted to these two albums plus a 2007 released EP. Musically it is hard to categorize them, especially as their line-up with a cellist is not very common. The older songs by the way are more electronic related whereas the newer ones of the last album are going away of that and heading for more classic metal. Singer Karolina vel Death wore the used stage outfit with strange feather protective sleeves (I wonder each time that they do not get knot together or rip off) and swirled around headbanging all over the stage. Permanently she tried to involve the crowd what was partly successful. From musical point of view I still struggle with them as it is nothing overwhelming despite the unusual constitution. Also a duet with Iliana of Meden Agan during "Broken Dolls" could nothing change to that.
In a negative way this was only overcome by the Steppenwolf cover version of "Born To Be Wild". Here again Meden Agan front woman Iliana came to support them (funny fact: she had to read the text all the time from a little piece of paper), but also Seduce The Heaven front woman Elina, Dimlight front woman Sanna and Angel Wolf-Black to rock the stage. The song simply made a chaotic impression and was performed badly so that you could have better left it out completely.
This gig you do not absolutely have to watch, there were way better ones during the day already but traditionally the 2Wild4 bands get slots without having shown great performances and which could have better given to other bands.
